    DM800 Clones, any downside?

I'm thinking of buying a DM800 HD PVR clone, so the question has to be - is there any downside to buying such a clone? eg:

Any images that can't be applied?
Anything not to apply to it?
    Anywhere not to buy from?

I'm in the UK if that helps. I already subscribe to S*y which I intend to keep so not interested in doing anything with that at all. Nor am I interested in CS if I can avoid it, but I do want to get as much out of it as I can.

    Cheers in advance,

    GJ

Thanks for the advice so far. I've been looking at linuxsat, and from the information I have they're just down the road from me (down the road being anywhere within a 100 mile radius).

However on the CS side, as mentioned previously, it's a major problem for me to do so and so I can't use it at all.

So my last question, hopefully not breaking any rules, do card emulators still work etc? I should have 6 of my LNB's up in the next week (weather permitting) so should be looking a most things between 1 west and 28 degrees east.

          Cheers
