dreambox 800hd fault

bought this item from china for my sons xmas present ?240
recieved last week scanned in all channels
go to hd channels get message tuner failed
even tried on mates system no joy
contacted seller was to to post back to china
at ?30 plus cost to me
any help much appreciated

Try an inline amplifier approx ?3 fro ebay. Has worked for others.
