they just pull out remove top case 4 screws and then remove back panel 6 screws 4 small blots 2 nuts on tuneeer be careful not to bend back plate as you remove it then just remove tuner it like in a ide slottakes a bout 10mins to do

i have an original tuner kelly, i think its a software issue not hardware.Wavefield Ds 55cm at 13E 19E and 28E receiving everything out there on 2 dm800hd

I have the tuner failed message as well until the box is on for about 15 mins then it works but it freezes and pixilates a lot so i think the tuners are at fault as well it may also be a software issue to but i do think the tuners are a big part of the problem or mine is anyway.
I also get a black screen and just sound on some channels the most noticable being AT THE RACES yet on my D600 all channels work perfectly.
