web control problem

When i ftp my dm800 using firefox i get this message,

The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.


* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

its not the firewall

i use blackhole v 0.12 which i reflashed twice.

dreamedit and dcc work fine,

can anyone help

are you putting in the correct IP address for your Dreambox, is the ethernet cable fully into your router and box

yes, its the one i get from the dm

log into your router and make sure the dreambox ip is static over your LAN.. make sure both ends of the ethernet cable are fully in..

try this test..

put your dreambox ip address in then at the end put :16001

see if that communicates to your EMU

eg..

192.168.10:16001

In your router, set port forward port 80 to the Dreambox IP; it should work fine then :-)

Have you tried typing in dm800.lan in the address bar infirefox? Make sure you haven't got a proxy server set too.

I just noticed I have the same problem, worked fine the last time, no problems accessing Dreambox Webcontrol for months & months & tonight when I type in the ip address I get the same messages as you did,...I can ftp to the box no problem & can see the ip address when I login to my router, dreamboxedit works for me also,......have you found a solution.
I'm using a dm800, nabilosat v12 & CCcam 2.1.3
