my glitchy hd fix for 800hd

ok guys, i have fixed the glitchy hd channels problem. im running a clone box with bl 72. but i do have a genuine tuner. i will test on a copy one later

    what i have done

    1. flash this image, i find it the best and has full epg. Digital Kaos - Downloads - Nabilosat Enigma2 Black Hole - DM800 v0.12 FOR CLO

2.i then installed the latest drivers
Digital Kaos - Downloads - dm800 clone drivers

    2. fit one of these
Inline Satellite Amplifier/Amp/Weak Signal Booster NEW on eBay (end time 02-Jan-10 04:55:47 GMT)

any hey presto i have no problems with any channels

all the hd channels that were working are still working and for an example. discohd has gain 3-5% snr and is glitch free. this goes with all the glitchy hd channels

Concerning the inline amplifier. Should i put the inline amp about halfway on my current cable, which would be in a crappy position or can i plug it near the reciever. Saves a lot of hassle if i can add the inline amp in the house near the reciever

Bless you fearona you have made me happy. I have been delaying cutting the cable and putting the amp somewhere in the middle.

This fix has been well known for a while. Doesn't fix all but a high percentage are happy.

I would say that there is a vast improvement on the HD channels
                          so yes it does work.
