Using serail cable from Dm to PC Witn net connceted do a search on dreambox tools to check all info is correct , ports,ip etc. Test ip connection in dreambox edit unable to connect check your configuration and the same geos for dreamset.

Using Blackhole v0.9 , installed via Barry allan

Is it possable to add fav via the remote control it might be more longwinded but i am sure it wouldn't take 2 days like i have been trying now.

      Cheers

Have you tried connecting to your dm800 throuh the web browser or telnet to make sure the ip address of your dm800 is correct?

The dm800 are supposed to be Enigma2 boxes so you could try Dreamboxedit 3.0 which is supposed to be Enigma2 compatible.
