    dm800 picture breakup

    Hi

I have owned my dm800 for a couple of weeks now and I am experiencing intermittent picture breakup when using cccam or a combination of cccam+newcs.
It appears that fta tv is fine and does not breakup at all but I know that my peers are very good and I did suffer a single problem with my technomate 600.
Any ideas on what might be wrong ? I dont think it is a overheating problem because the breakups can occur straight away when switching the box on. Are there any tweaks that can be performed on cccam at all ?

Hope you can help because I have no idea on how I can solve this problem.

Box is a genuine dm800 from Goldwafers and is running nabilosat 12.

    Thanks

      Setup is

      dm800
      90cm motorised dish
cable length approx 25-30 metres with inline signal booster.

The problems seem to effect channels that use cccam like sky sports, the movies channels etc etc.
Fta channels on 28e are fine and most of the channels offer a signal off 65-70+ and ber 0

Like I say the technomate 600 worked fine with no breakup on channels that required the use of cccam.
I added a inline signal booster to see if that would help but the problems still occur.

      Thanks

Yes looks like it is a cccam problem for sure.
The breakup happens when I use a share that I know is not oversubscribed etc so I am reasonably certain that the share is not the problem.
My tm600 worked without any problems for 3 months before I upgraded to the dm800.

I have tried many versions of cccam and also cccam+newcs and the problem happens on all of them.

I am going to reflash the dm800 with an alternative image than Nab12. What images give you the option to download cccam+newcs combination directly to the box ?
Also I have searched the web but cannot seem to find a link to download this combination , I can only find the single cam and now both.

            Thanks

What's your network like? Your shares might be fine, but if you're having some latency getting responses, it could result in picture breakup

Yeah, make sure you don't upload when your trying to watch without breakup as this effects the sharing a lot.

Direct downloads shouldnt effect it i.e Rapdishare as these dont use P2P anything that uses P2P can effect it, even things such as playing online on xbox live.

direct downloads can still affect it because if you have a 20meg line and are downloading at 2.2meg a second like mine does thats you speed pretty much maxed out regardless if you not seeding anything back
