DM800 HD, How do I remove the tuner

I can't get the tuner out. Do I have to remove the sides of the box or something. It just doesn't slot out. Whats the nack. I screwed off the tunner screws on the back but it won't budge. There is a fan under it so its a tight fit.

Its a clone. I want to do the cap fix.

I believe some clones had fixed tuners. Do you have a photo of the inside of yours that you can post? Does it look like its slotted into a pci type slot?

I got mine in like in Oct 09 so I doubt that I have the fix

Its so easy really. Takes 5 minutes.

Remove the top black cover by un-screwing 2 side screws and 2 back screws.

Now you need to remove the silver back plate, the one which cover the scart, and all connection points at the back. There are a number of screws there, and 2 nuts. remove them all.

Once the back cover is off you will see that the tuner will just slide off effort-less
