flashing bh 0.12

Hi,i flashed the latest blackhole image onto dm800 but at the end it read "image failed" out of date, box now unusable.I tested dm and it still works.its genuine box.anybody had this trouble?

I guess nobody else had this problem from the lack of replies,so ill try flashing Gemini image

Just try reflashing through Null Cable.

Superman tried to re-flash as followes:2:59:44 Flashing failed (!!! 010 INVALID IMAGE (OR OLD VERSION)), box will be unusable now!! im using null modem and it takes about 1 hr,is this right?

Which bootloader do you have, did you flash it via the webinterface? Follow the guide about how to flash, it will be ok. You will learn which bootlader you have, are the image modified? Like patched?

no luck via web.i put ip address in browser and nothin happens.there doesnt appear to be much info about this dm800 problem around!

1. shutdown the dreambox via remote
2. unplug the cable (electricity) wait 30 sec
3. Press the standby button on the dreambox, not remote, press and hold and then plug the cable
4. No it should write **STOP** in the display, and over that it should write "DHCP" wait til it shows which ip-adress you will get, if you do not get any ip-adress check the router if DHCP is activated.
5. Write the ip-adress in to a webbrowser at the bottom there is a "flash" button. You can only flash .nfi files.

If this does not help you should use null modem cable and dreamup which is safer. Good luck

Tried to flash 5 times via dreamup with null modem-no luck same problem!!
I emailed DMM with this problem 9 days ago i got auto email response saying ticket no.blah blah! Great support. NOT!

Do you have a genuine dm800? or it came shipped frpm China? Try to replace the drives manually, I do not know exactly how to do but you can search. I dont know what it could be else. which image did you had before, how did you get to this point? explain little

Genuine dreambox800 hd came with bl 74,image 2.5-2009-09-10 i think its gemini?.
1.setup satelites with usals- all working ok
2.tried to flash blackhole v0.12 from downloads-this is where problem started
3.cant even network it either tried all ip and name servers.
ive tried to google but very little out there for dm800!!

try this image m8 its for origanal dm NOT clone ok use dreamup and yes willl take about a hr to flash
