problems streaming from pc to dm800

I am trying to use play2dream to stream movies from my pc to my dm800 but when I click install after typing in all the settings it just comes up "failed to change directory"

Is this program usable on the DM800 and am I doing something wrong?

I have now manually inputted settings into dreambox and have vlc media player installed on my pc.

The dreambox sees the pc fine and I can go through the folders no prob but when I choose which file to play the box crashes and re-boots. Is this a settings prob in vlc on the pc? Could someone please guide me on how to set up vlc on the pc?

If the dreambox crashes it seems like a problem on the DM.

Any luck with the crashing issue?. I have had a lot of issue getting the dm connected to the pc through vlc. Final got vlc connected but same issue, when I select a movie (avi) it crashes and re-boots.
