    Can't access webcontrol DM800

    Hey guys

    I got a new broadband router and I can't seem to access the webcontrol for my dm800.

    The ip is 192.168.1.68,
    when i type this in it seems to just load the header of the page(no actual content, just in the titlebar of firefox "dreambox webcontrol") and it keeps loading..

    any ideas?

    It is the right IP btw.

      You could try to ftp to the box , using the ip address your using for webcontrol , that way you can establish if it is the correct ip

          just cut this from another thread ,

          Press and hold the silver button on the front of the box when you connect power. Look at the LCD display. Then you see what bootloder you have in the box. Do not release the button. Press and hold until you see the ip number in the box display. Start the browser and type in the ip nummret and select the firm were upgraded.

              check the IP number to your dm800 by remote control. Menu / setup / system / network / adapter setup. Check also if you have pop up blocker on your browser. Try using firefox.

                  Tried it all, The ip is correct. Something to do with my router as I just changed it recerntly.

                      ahh guys i think i found the problem..don't know how to fix it. its to do with the dhcp of my router...the box doesnt boot with the ethernet plugged in, so there must be an issue...also i have an o2wirelessbox router, i have set it so that it always administers the same ip to the dreambox, and i have turned on dhcp on the dreambox too.

                      any ideas

                          dont no much about mate but my 02 wireless box working ok with dm800s,i didnt have to change anything

                              turn off DHCP on router and dreambox and assign dream and all pc's, ps3, xbox etc a static ip
