DM800 No Channels - Help!

Try downloading satellites settings from addons and you'll get the channel packages you wanted as well. Gemini image, press Blue /settings /Addons / download (Gemini server) / Settings-Sat / and maybe try the one with rotor of don@ 42E-30W, though you haven't got a motor but you'll get all the updated channel lists from all of those satellites including 28.2E, I hope. If not, do it on dreamset or dreamboxedit.

Will do - did exactly this procedure to filter out the 28.2 settings but no joy, will give this a go later this evening and report back. I'm just disheartened as the sat finder is not showing anything, I would have thought the bars would be lit regardless - as i have a definite signal into the DB it shoud see something? or are the config settings critical to the satfinder performance?

Its just to check the tuner is working and the dish is in position which you know it is.

If after entering a transponder manually and still no signal shows, then it may very well be the tuner.

Try this transponder:

I have put these exact settings in and.......computer says
noimmediately returns the "scan done! no services found!"

Tried this and got an error - host not found. It let me download one of the other files so perhaps just this link is down.

Is there any testI can do additionally to identify if the tuner module is to blame here?

Try sending these with dreambox edit then reboot the box
also you have not screwed the sat feed on to the wrong connection as its an easy mistake to make.

Cheers will give it a go - definately screwed sat feed into the input side - I checked it 10 times! one thing I havnt tried is screwing into the out "side" - just incase (possibly connected wrong way around inside the box?)

OK, first time using dreambox edit, managed to successfully download the settings - can select the channels from the 28.2 bouquet but each one inc freeview flashes up "tuning failed" then blank screen.
I guess it's dead then?

Thats a good guide, I will give this a go tomorrow evening as the missus is getting fed up of me messing around with this now. Do I simply unscrew the two nuts off the in / out male ends and pull away from circuit board to remove?

Usually on a clone you have to take the backplate off then looking from the back the tuner slides out sideways to the right.

Followed the guide and settings, still no joy. Took tuner module out, no obvious circuit damage. Replaced and still no signal, so unless the motherboard is faulty the module must be dead.

Is there any tests available to confirm this?

tunner not finding any channels

hi peeps just changed over my image on my dm800hd I have the blackhole 12 on it but it wont find any channels during a scan even after i have configed the tunner,I think i read somewere that you have to drop a file into the box to sort this with nabilosat images on the clones,,the tunner works perfect on jade pli and my other enigma images any help would be gret I just trying because of it so called near perfect epg

if its a fixed dish then goto setup /tuner configuration/top line configuration mode: set to simple: 2nd line mode: set to single: 3rd line satellite set to astra 28.3 exit and zapback yes : this should work otherwise sound like tuner prob
