Depends if the box does the same thing with sim in and out, it will just be try and error changing the sim, but you need to find out what make processor you have if buying the sim201

            Problem found :

DreamUp , with certain dreamboxes, needs to have the IP fields filled, even if you don't use your network to flash.
So, I was using a "dummy" pc to flash, not connected, and I simply had to connect it to make DreamUp work normally, without "is not a valid integer value ...

                  what you have to do
                  1-run dreamup , connect DM800 with cable
2- under dreamop select network and in the remote ip (box) put the ip you want for your box
3-now switch on the dreambox, dreamup will prepared the box for flash
                  when ready for flash
4 take the remote ip (box) then follow the procedure through the web now
                  192,168.xxxx.xxx
will get to the upgrade firmware page

This will force the box on bootloader mode

                  I hope this will help

I faced the same issue. I removed the lan card from the computer and the problem was resolved. I don't know why but it works for me. First, I tried disable the lan card but it did not work.

                          I have the same problem

I foolishly flashed my genuine DM800 with clone image and now have 'ERROR: NO SIM2xx FOUND".
I will try all remedies above and let you know if I succeed.

                          Thanks to all in advance

                              WOW

Yes mine is genuine. I bought it two years ago. It did cost me close to $400.
And yes your solution here, worked for me.
Thanks to Kevin and all who participated with helpful clues as they try and come back with their findings.

Guys, your all are awesome. Thanks a million.

i have the same problem but mine is a clone, i have tried a few dreamups none work the only one that did anything was a forhike and natas patched and when connected it says uploading flash loader and once that is complete it is stuck on "upload complete waiting for acknowledge" what do i do now? dreambox just displays dream multimedia with the red light on
if i disconnect and reconnect goes back to the no sim2xx found error
please help me get it back up and running
