    going from cable to sky

    Hi All

    was on cable but now going to sky,

    im looking at buying a dm800 and just want some advice on what i will need, to get the channels like sky sports and so on.

    I'm pretty new to this satellite game as well matey. I believe the only way is cardshare. which i think you will find it is not an allowed topic on here.

      its a bit techie setting it up m8,as long as your ok with pc,network etc,then you need to cs with someone but cant say much more,google around,there is other places with tons of help

        thanks for your reply guys, one last thing, does the box use broadband, a dish or both as seen a few says different things

          both ,box is connected to ye dish ,motorised is better,and ethernet cable to ye router

            You only need the internet if you want to C/S, its better to have it connected to ethernet though for ease of use also.

              its piss easy to do as long as you know the basics. Alot of the peeps will give you support so your not in the dark as they say. Basically they will show you how to setup and everything... definetly not Rocket science
