USB stick to DM800?

How do I formate the stick correct, in the box or? I tried it once and sfter restart the bow won't see the stick....Do I need to mount it in any way?

I had it formated by my PC to fat32 and the DM800 changed the format to ext3 (which i think is the right format), but no luck....

Anyone can point me in the right direction?

Try formatting as FAT32 but DONT use Windows to do this, use this HP USB format tool and all should be well. Using Windows to format a USB drive and working on Linux in general (not just a Dreambox) just doesn't seem to work for some reason.

Thx a lot. I'll give it a try. Any idea how to mount the stick for recordings?

PS! My sign is wrong now, I just got a DM800....
