New Here DM 800HD questions

Hey,
Just joined, hope you are all well!
I have a standard Sky plus install at the moment and a pretty good 47? Samsung 1080p TV
I?ve heard of Dream Box before but never read up on them or looked into them in any way. So maybe somebody could point me in the right direction.
I am looking for a Dreambox HD to setup with a Wave frontier dish. I?ve not chosen what satellites I want to pick up yet so I will choose how many LMB?s I want to put on this thing later. The idea at the moment is I would like to pick up most Euro stuff and Middle East stuff
Problem is I am not too sure about the best kit to go for.
I assume that?s pretty much the best none motorised dish to go for having done a little reading?
I?ve seen the Dreambox 800 HD (S) I assume that stands for satellite? Am I right in saying this is the one below the 8000HD (can?t afford that) and why does not 800HD not have HDMI out? Is the 800HD what I should be looking at?
I?ve done a little reading around satellite finders and found Horizon to be pretty good, would that be correct?
So? it?s pretty obvious I?m new to all this stuff, but what will help me along the way is I am fluent with Linux/BSD/Solaris.

Hi the s is for sat and the 800hd doese have hd lead place at the back i have only just got into sat my self coming away from cable and for what i have read up on the 800hd is a ok box but like everthing someone will say something else and choose a diffrent one at mo i have the 500s and it is working well i am updateing to 800hd after reading up on all boxes and price you have to loook for you can run into loads of money and get carried away
