Does anybody have a dm800 connected to internet via router?I tried to setup mine with DHCP checked and unchecked but for some reason when i do a network test the ip address comes back unconfirmed and a message saying internet connection not working!would anybody have a quick guide on this?

Not sure how to setup dm800 network connection.
But if you are able to get into settings can you see a ip address being assigned to the box??
Check on a PC what ip address and subnet and see if they are in same network.
Post your ip add's online and I'll take a looksie if you need -
when i setup the network connection i can see the ip,sub and dns address that r assigned but when i run a network test it says ip add unconfirmed.internet not working.ive tested the connection with lappy and it works!!!strangeComment

just a thought on mine i have to restart the box to activate the settings
as been said
check ip of pc example 192.168.1.100
then on the dreambox change last digit example 192.168.1.101
subnet example 255.255.255.0
gateway/router example 192.168.1.1
dns server same as pc
if you understand what i mean

westkill tried all that m8,rebooted each time no luck!
pc 192.168.1.xx
db same plus 1 digit
sub normal
router 192.168.1.x
dns same as router
the link button led is green so there is activityComment
