New to dreambox

Hi all,

I am new to dreambox and recently bought a DM800 (clone) hope some can get me started.

Unless there is a better recommendation I would like to install Nabilo Blackhole .12. So could someone please get me started....

Got few question noob questios (apologies) first.

What does th following mean and do I need to check or do anything for doing this....

BOOTLOADER 72 ?
What is Barry Allan software ?
Can I just download v.12 and install ?

i think the bootleader is a bit of software that allows the main firmware to load and run on the box. (boot up) if you have a clone DM800 this may be quite important. (depending on what version firmware you load up).
if you are VERY new to these boxes your best bet is to seek out the tutorials and study them before going too much further. you may find things more difficult without doing this.

barry allen (i think) allows you to have more than one image loaded on the box. if im right you dont need that for now. if im wrong im sure someone will correct me.

black hole is a good firmware to load as it has epg already added which you may well need.
