Put in more images on 800hd clone

Is there any guide?s how to put in more images (usb stick) using barry allen? Or some other system.

What is the best image to use on this one? I have the second stage bootloader and GP 4.6 installed.

Would like to try out some more then GP as I have today.

I have a DM7025 with a CF card, however I used this guide

Which is a little old, but nonetheless a very good guide.

    Cheers,

Hi, if you dont want to use barry allen some images come with meoboot for usb flash sticks. This is very easy to use and when you install it, it has an on screen guide. I suggest you try that. If your image does not have meoboot you can install it. It will show in the green button menu. You can load as many images as you want.

Ok sounds nice, but is there any "how to do" guide somewhere?

Like to put on PLi and Nablio image and try them out, not 100% happy using GP for the moment.

        Regards

If I were you I would install nabilo with multiboot in flash, the Nabilo BH hyperspace version usually already has the meoboot app installed, All u do is plug in an empty usb drive, click on your green button, run meoboot, format the drive using the onscreen instructions and then follow further instructions. You can then run GP from usb if you want it back.

I dont know of any guide but its not required.

yes that could be one ide, but I do not like to change the first setup (GP) that I know works. Better safe then sorry. Can I use the harddrive instead of USB stick?

            Regards

Can you not make a backup from the image incase it all goes wrong, just use flash wizard pro or dreamup.

Or search google for the meoboot plugin, trust me its a five minute job.

Have tryid to get an backup using Flash Wizzard, but cant get i working ;-(

                ---------------------------
                Confirm
                ---------------------------
The Boot Menu of FlashWizard PRO is not installed
on flash image. Do you want to install it now?
                ---------------------------
                Yes No
                ---------------------------

And then it install as i supose to do, ( I have used this on my 500S plenty times)

                ---------------------------
                Information
                ---------------------------
Boot Menu installed successfully. Multiboot install enabled.
                ---------------------------
                OK
                ---------------------------

But when I make backup nothing happend, and next time I startup there is no boot menu installed??

What do I in the wrong order?

Hi again, I havn't ever actually used fwp to make a backup, I usually use a patch cable connected to my pc com port and use Dreamup. So in this case I hope someone else can answer your question, sorry

i was exited for this at once but i discovered quickly that the only image i want is nabilo darkstar. its far more advanced than any other image out there.

i have 6 images in my usb stick but i never use any of them besides the one in flash, which is darkstar

Hmmm have a problem I could need some help to solve.

Have put in MeoBoot and I can find it under plugin, so thats working good.

When I put in the USB stick and go to MeoBoot I cant find it under avalible devices, so there is nothing to format.....

Under information / hardware i can se the USB, When going via DCC mnt_>media /usb i can se and use the usb stick.

Anyone got any good ideas what to do?

                      Regards

You have to first mount and format the usb drive from the device manager, not from meoboot. The device manager is sometimes under the blue button or in settings. This stage has nothing to do with meoboot. Let me know what happened.

First format the usb flash drive in a pc, put it in the dm and do a full reboot of the dm, it should have detected it, if not try the other usb slot and repeat the above steps.
