How do i Open Port on DM800HD?

Hi there,

I wondering if someone can help me out with a problem I've been having with my Dm800 set-up, because I've pretty much run our of ideas,

I want to share my Sly card within my house to kids bedroom
I have tried to portforward all sorts of different ports to my Dm800 through my router (in both UDP & TCP) but for some reason none of them appear to allow access. i.e. be it 12000, 34000 or 35241, I forward the ports in my router to the DM IP, but I'm still unable to see them when I do a port scan using something like canyouseeme.org

Can anyone help me resolve the problem?

If both boxes are in your house then you don't need to amend your router/firewall, since they are both on your LAN. Therefore you should be connecting to your internal (LAN) IP address of your DM. As for ports, they will only be available for communications once you are running some software on your DM (don't know what software you're using) once your software is running.

I can't really give you any more information than that, since CS is a taboo subject, but there are plenty of places to obtain the information.

well opening a port isnt tabboo

in cccam type the line SERVER LISTEN PORT : 12000

just remeber sharingyour card is breaking the law
