dreambox dm 800 hard drive

i have a dream dm 800 with 1tb hard drive connected extranal my question is there a way to get the recordings of the hard drive to put on to dvd i know it can be done when you connect a dvd recorder but my dvd recorder went west and is dead so is therean other way

ftp to the box media/usb i guess
were movies are stored ftp the file back to your pc
use a program called convert to x which can burn them to disc

Type in the ip of the box in your browser,Dreambox web control should come up,click on the movies tag and all the movies you've copied will be there.Then just click on the icon at the right hand side(can't remember what it looks like)and download it to your pc then burn it to dvd etc
