    DM800HD analog/ac3 sound connections

    Hi, I am about to get my hands on a DM800HD. I understand it comes with a DVI to HDMI cable. With that, am I able to get analog sound on normal and HD channels?

      yes m8 it will carry sound to your tv on all channels
      dm800-s=1.1 m triax motorised dish=titanium twin lnb

          Yes. I recently switched from DM500 to DM800. No sound issues at all

              Thanks for the info mates. Just one more question about the DM800HD, must I have a HDTV that is HDCP ready in order to view the HD channels?

                  I tried 800HD on HD Ready TV and Full HD TV. Works perfectly on both of them.

                      I have DM800 and why the sound from HD channel is always louder then the normal channel?
                      Is there a fix for this?.
