    dm 800 info

    boot76, gemi5.0, sim2.01, fan on the heat sink, tunner alps version l3,

    is this a good one to buy?
    only got a 500s cant use a null cable as my laptop hasnt got a socket, I flashed my 500 10+ times over wifi with flashpro .
    theres so much info out there about the 800s im a bit lost
    1 can flash it with usb?
    2 can it run full sky epg?
    3 boot76, gemi5.0, sim2.01, fan on the heat sink, tunner alps version l3 are they good stats?
    4 do all 800s come with the dvi/hmdi cable? and hard drive cable?
    5 e2? is this as easy to use as a e1 on a 500s?

    1. you can flash over network in a few minutes
    2.nabilosat images can have 7day epg ,do need updating
    3. that looks up to date as you can get
    4. yes they do come with dvi/hdmi cable and hdd cable
    5. E2 i think is better than E1

      Price depends were your gettin it from mate , i got mine from manufacturer last november pretty much same spec as you list , only rev k tuner , think it came in at ?165 delivered ,
      if your buying from uk , i would expect to pay ?200 + ish ,

          A few Chinese traders are advertising BL75/76 yet are providing BL72, sometimes even older, make sure you confirm the BL before purchasing.

          Many people are still having major issues with the newer L3 tuners, some say they are just as bad as earlier revisions.

          @ Southpaw, are you sure you got a BL76 machine last November??

          Last November BL72 was common.

            no mate , your correct , it was 72 when i got it , however it was sim 2.01 , so upgaded to 76

              How did you upgrade your bootloader to 76?

              Is this an easy (ish) upgrade? Assuming I do have sim 2.01.

                from 72 , i flashed
                "SIM201e-75-NabiloBlackHole_DM800_012"

                then uploaded simple small nfi file , flash it via normal explorer / firefox method after above image , file is called "SSL75-update-SSL76.nfi" , site i got it off is offline at moment ,
                not got time to upload as off out now sorry ,

                Please be aware this method is for sim 2.01 only
