I have a DM800 Clone which I have some troubles with. I look very much on Viasat 5E and Canal Digital 1W. But my receiver freezes on these channels after 1-2 minutes ( TV2Sport (HD) TV3Puls, TV3 HD, TV1000HD. I use Gemini 4.2 because it is the only one which is working, with subtitles on HD channels. Why is these channels freezing.

You must check your ECM time if ECM is good then you need one of these..!!

my ecm is over 90, so I don?t think it is because of weak signal. My best friend has the same supplier and his DM800 is working perfect (he says). His is an original and mine is a clone, is that the cause to the problem. The problem has not always been there, but has come for the last 3 weeks.Comment

when you say ECM time 90 do you mean 0.90 if so what encryption is the channel i,e cryptoworks irdeto etc as its mainly NDS that needs code update every 6 secondsComment

normally just push the ok button to bring the whats on now banner up then quickly push ok again you should get a extended menu pop up and you should get the url of the server your connected to and the ecm time..Comment

Sounds to me like you need a inline amp. There are quite a few out there. I first bought one which did not fix it properly, i then bought another And it worked perfect. The one which worked was from ukdreamshop, it is linked to above. Atleast you will know it works mate.

Ok, this is what I have noticed. The ecm is about 0.500-2.000 when it is working perfect, but when it freezes there is no ecm. Does this mean that my supplier has a problem or that I have to buy an inline amp.Comment

Well you certainly not using NDS what sat are you viewing?
sounds like you disconnect from the server, the url should never disappear..! please monitor more closely does it 100% display no server on freeze watch it freeze 4 of 5 times..Comment

I am watching Viasat 5e and the most problems is from this. satellite. Last night I could not see them at all, but this morning they are working again, no problem today yet. The problem is with these channels, TV2sport and HD, TV3 Puls, TV3+HD, TV1000 HD, other viasat channels is working perfect and not freezing. They freezes in 20-30 sec, comes again 1-2 min and freezes again. I dont think I have a weak signal, because snr and agc is about 85-100 %. OH, now dissapeared tv2 sport (black screen). Very irritating problemComment

yes his server is kicking you off could be the illegal.sh (illegal user script) if he has built a debian using the auto install script.
ask him to flush his iptables if he runs a server he should know what im talking aboutComment
