just recived my smargo having trouble setting up followed all guides still cant get it going having trouble installing the nabilo drivers in dreambox dm800 i have ftped the nabilo drivers in temp folder but when i go to install them in maual install theyre not their.

im using dream elite blackhole image 13 i could get internal card reader working without a problem but cant get the smargo working i have updated the firm to 1.4.

im using dreambox config creator to make the new cs file

been on this for a few hours without any luck now

never used one but...
try
blue button>extra setting>kernal modules manager
for active modules

If your using cccam you need a line to point to the device like
and a line to point the boxkey

anywhere you like, 90 % of the standard config lines are not used anyway.. just replace the part that points to the internal reader so it points to the usb

do i add the boxkey in the cfg? i treid with the boxkey and without it still no luck enabled kernels moudule chipset ftdi yes added the boot file. bootup in the folder /ect/init.d

yo add the line below.

echo 90 > /proc/progress
modprobe ftdi_sio

still getting anywhere tried nablio 12 image now still the same wtf going on been on this for 2days now.

are you not using CCcam that looks like newcs lines..?

yeah using new cs 1.67
its detected the smargo in box card shows up in cccam info still not clearing any channels my smargos a orignal so no problems updating it or downgrading it.

did you put the smargo in dreambox mode ,run smartreader.exe and change the kernal settings to dreambox and click on apply .if your using vista when you clicked apply it may not have worked ,i had to do this on an windows xp computer as clicking on apply would not work on my vista laptop.

Why not just use cccam easier to setup.. problem with new cs is and does not allow EMM's so card entitlements will not update..

got it working guys i was uisng new cs instead of cccam2.14 but uisng nabilo blackhole 12 i want to use it with dream elite image but cant get it to work is thier any drivers for dream elite image??

aLL DRIVERS ARE IN THE DREAMELITE IMAGE ITS ALL TO DO WITH THE LINES IN THE CCCAM.CFG JUST USE SAME CONFIG THAT YOU HAVE WORKING IN THE NABILO

thanks got it working in the end the cfg file was a bit diffrent got dream elite.
