dm800 just went dead when watching Sports HD

been a great box for close to a year now. But suddenly today the small screen just went dead. When i try to unplug and re-plug power i can hear the hard drive firing up but there is nothing on LCD?

Is it dead or its something minor? Power adapter is working as i can hear the hard drive, unless if its no longer supplying enough power to the box

        This is clone yes

I have removed tuner still no power on. I have tried power supply unit for dm500 still no joy. I have removed the hard drive still no joy, i have put Cable tuner, no luck either.

Isnt it something to do with mother board? Power is coming to the box as network lights are on at the back. Its the small screen in front that has gone dark

Mine does this from time to time which does worry me but if I (remove from oven and.. ) leave it to cool, remove the tuner and power on holding down the standby button, it (mostly) boots fine. Just need to press the standby button once more to continue booting, then I power down and fit the tuner again.

Hope you get it sorted mate, seen a few on fleebay with the same problem. They still sold for 130-150 (which means you could still sell it and buy another for only a few quid more ).

EDIT: Also make sure your sim is in correctly as this can sometime also cause problems.
