    Dm800+sim0171

Does anyone knows what sim version my DM800 Clone has. I have openend the box and on the top of the simcard is written "0171". Is that version 2.01 or older.

Ok, I have bootloader 72. I have still big troubles with freezing on some channels. Does anyone knows if a Ferrari simcard and newer Image, will solve this problem. If the problem continues, I think I will buy an original DM800 or DM500HD.

what channels do you get freezing on and you sure its tuner related could it be your ECM time...

you will have a Chinese rev k tuner witch do suffer badly...

If i was you instead of wasting money on a new box check your ecm times are good around 0.25 or lower if they are it is tuner i would spend ?50 get a L3 tuner and in line amp and you wilkl be sorted

Forget the Ferrari sim waste of money as there is plenty of image options for you with bl72

I have bought an in line amplifier, which did not help at all. These tuner I have seen for sale, is the same which as mine, so I can?t see that this will change anything. My problems is especially on Viasat channels 5e, on Canal digital there is no freezing at all.

Nope you don't need to change anything software related just simple 5 screws and slide the tuner out and pop the new one in...
I'm not aloud to post any links but UKdreamshop stocks them..!

On my tuner is written "BSBE2-401A" and 9D1441G Made in Japan. Is that a REV L3.

You need to look on the underside of the tuner like picture below..!

And it is not a problem to put in a REV L3 in a clone. Is it neccessary to change anything.

Yes the L3 is the updated version for the clone to fix the issues in rev k, like above there is a capacitor mod it does work i used before but the tuner died 2 months after, apparently there is more mods done than just the capacitor but i not sure of what exactly but like above some people have the mod working it may just be mine that was unlucky and died after the 2 months,

Actually looking at the rev k and L3 tuner the circuit lay-out is completely different so there is big changes more than just the capacitor
