    dreamelite 1.3

    Any one know if Dreamlite images are clone safe if so please post a link for a DM800.

          thanks for that Bulldog,

          Have you used that image is it any good. i am running a Nobilo blackhole image at the moment but some one suggested i try Dreamlite. is it worth changing?

                  Depends on your bootloader latest dreamelite 1.3.3 is for bl75 update to bl76 first or already bl76

                      Just had a look and i am on BL72 for some reason but i do know that my clone has the sim 2.01. I had the case off yeterday to load the new hard drive. If i download the Dreamlite will that update to BL76 or will i need to update the bootloader.

                          Where does it say the bootloader? best place to check is in the webshell so put box in flash mode and tap the ip in the pc and it will tell you there current bl

                              If you load an updated image then you may end up wrecking your box. If you really want to try another image then try loading the image in multiboot.

                                  Booloader version: Dreambox Second Stage Loader BUILD #72, built 20090303 thats what i got back how do i upgrade to BL75/76 any help would be most welcome Thanks

                                      you can't,, there is a dreamelite 1.2.4 or 1.3 floating about te net for bl72 sure someone posted this a few weeks back.

                                                  Yes they are clone safe,

                                                  But I personally did not like it, Cam crashed regularly, Fan switched off in stand by heating the receiver to over 45 c, Still none of the dials working in system info regarding System Temperature, System Memory, Ram usage etc, Key Map was wrong (Default no Sub Channel), I flashed back to Gemini 5.0 after three day of DreamElite 1.3

                                                      The thing i dont understand is when i bought the box it came with gemini 5 and bootloader 76 pre installed so how come its down graded to BL72? can any one answer that for me please. I am getting confused?

                                                          maybe you overwrite the bootloader when flashing with a image if you bought box as bl76 gemini 5.0 it must be does it have gold sticker with sim 2.01 underneath and did it say latest l3 tuner when you purchased if so you def overwrite the bootloader you must use patched images for you box version
