i have just updated drivers on my dm800 clone, after searching for files and how too`s , so decided to share my findings ,

(2) dreambox-dvb-modules_2.6.18-7.3-dm800-20100528-r0-mfaraj_dm800.ipk - 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download
These drivers are working and tested and depend on sim201 bootloader 76 only
The features of original drivers are
update dm800/dm8000/dm500hd drivers
- fix more deadlocks introduced with SMP changes
- better recording/playback/demux performance
- add aspectratio signaling via hdmi avi info frame for 576i/p and 480i/p
- some internal fixes/changes to improve stability
download is a ipkg package , therefore ftp it to "tmp folder" on dreambox , to install start a telnet session in DCC and install
(tools tab , ipkg packages , select above file name )
reboot box and drivers will be updated , personally tested on dreamelite 1.3
BEWARE , THIS UPDATE HAS BEEN REPORTED TO HANG ON GEMINI 5 , ALSO FILE IS FOR SIM 2.01 OR FERRARI WITH BOOTLOADER 76
