    dm800 keeps freezing after flash

Hi I bought a genuine dm800. I flashed it through web interface but when I go to change a channel or access the menu it seems to freeze and I have to turn the power off and on again. I flashed it with gemini 2 v 5.0. Is there a different image I should be using

    Thanks,

    Eric

As its a genuine dm800 I don't think it will matter about the sim. I would try flashing with another image such as the Nabilo or Pli.

My friends did this and we tried various images, all to no avail,in the end we put it down to a faulty box.
It's in the process of being sent back

hi thanks for the responses. I dont know what the sim is but I put in the verification code onto the dream multimedia website and checked what it told me to see if it was real. I will try the other images nabilo and pli. Which version should i use though.

Ive just tried nabilo and it says starting enigma 2 and then crashes and component enigma2 signal is there something wrong with the box.

How much did it cost, this will be a big indication of whether it's a clone or not. If it is, then there's your problem. Use a patched image if it is.
