800s youtube player

running nabilosat on my 800s and have tried to use the youtube player, it finds clips you request says it will play but nothing happens black screen and ticker along bottom not moving

any ideas please

Not used that image mate , but on dreamelite image youtube player was crashing , found this info below , and works great now ,

download files from here zSHARE - youtube.zip

With ftp client go to :
usr/lib/Enigma2/python/Plugins/Extension ... here
remove the folder " MyTube "
after ... unzip the folder above and copy
all 4 files to /tmp directory on your dreambox, afterwards
with telnet type :
# cd /tmp
# ipkg install *.ipk
# reboot
..after reboot you must see in Plugins "YouTubePlyers" and youtube works great

I use Gemini and install form server Mytube and watch all from site youtube.

my box came with gemini that failed so i had all kinds of probs flashing it as it has the 2.01 sim onboard, kinda depressing me thinking of a reflash to another image but thanks for info guys

When U updates the box to latest drivers of 23-06-2010,,,,the DElite image will not crash any more,,,,the solution was given by IHAD forum the makers of CVS images.
