Dm800 Tuner Fail?

Hi,my tuner keeps saying tuner failed then locks up on any channel inc fta ones.ive checked all my cabling,dish ok.ive flashed different images also.do you guys think its a failed tuner as its only about a month old?

I have clone dm800 and the tuner failed after 1 month luckily the supllier sent me a new tuner wihout any fuss. I am now having some problems with network port where the the box loses connectivity after about 3 minutes so seriously starting to regret buying a clone dm800.

try on a friends dish incase you have faulty lnb its been know before also short in cable

tested on another dish for half hour with no problems on fta channels.got it home and it started to work then went back to tune failed and picture freezing.its working intermittently.hope its not lnb as i'll have to take the whole dish down.

Would you not prefer it to be a days work plus 5quid or 200quid box?

Hi,
My Dm 800 Hd (clone) box is working fine on Ku band Sat 15.8*East.
I would like to scan the channels on 68.5* East( C band ),how to get access to the
C band pre scan configuration. On which threads I can gather some reading matter
to assist me.

I had the same exact issue.. and after weeks of troubleshooting I found out that it was Gemini 5.0 causing the issue. I have installed DreamElite1.2.4 and never had the issue. And now I'm running on DreamElite1.3.3 and never had the issue as well.

Well if it worked on another dish no problems, then it must be you dish or short on cable perhaps?

Gemini 4.7 no problem with anything all channels fta and HD works very good.

Yes,,,agree most the new images have the same issue,,,,I think somthing to do with oe1.6!

I solved the issue of Tune fail by making Tune configuration>>advance and did something like in the attachments,,,No more Tune fail!

well ive not touched it for 2 days as its been running fine although the snr is lower than before.then all of a sudden i cant get any channels again.hopefully my new lnb will be here tomorrow so ill try that.
do the clones come with any guarantee?i bought it in the uk.
