guys i had this problem with gemini 4.6 and 5.0 the solution ive found is to use new enigma images theyre all working 100% even on new tuners go to sim2.01 website and download latest 76a one from 1st august

and the other thing is if youre card******g then get a decent server and thatll solve your problems check the hops on it!!!!!
also if its overloaded with customers it will definitely freeze and go messed up find a decent one its truly trial and errorComment

If this is not a broadcast issue, why for 4 days has ESPN HD been fine and SP3 HD been unwatchable and now today the issue is reversed?
Also I dont get this on any other satellite inc SP HD Italy.
It cant be server related because there has not been anything worth watching on either channel through the test period so there would not have been great demand on the card.Last edited by jonesm123; 6 September, 2010, 20:42.Comment

OK, I'm going to throw a spanner in the works.
I have Two DM800's in the same room.
One is a Clone, One is a Genuine box.
The Genuine box is running Nablio Blackhole 0.12
The Clone box is running DreamElite 1.3.3d
HD is fine on both boxes with the exception of Sky Sports HD1 which glitches badly on the Clone Box.
I have read about tuners and caps etc but in the interests of experimentation, I swapped the tuner over from the Genuine box to the Clone box and it still only glitches on Sky Sports HD1 !!!
I have swapped the LNB feeds over just to be sure there wasn't something wrong with that particular LNB Output.
So I think its safe to say its definitely an issue with the Clone box, yet its not the Tuner which seems to be a common suspect!
Incidentally, in case anyone is interested, the Clone box had a L3 tuner and the Genuine box said Rev.K.
I seriously doubt an inline AMP is necessary since the genuine box doesn't need it.
I plan to blast Nabilo Backhole 0.12 on the Clone this afternoon just to try and get them as identical as possible.Comment

Well all the Sd Channels are clear .
And most HD but as above theres probs with HD channels
Got the in line amp but still glitching.

Add in line amp
Add fan
Remove internal fan
Use usb fan powerd from source other than dreambox
If i sort it i will let you know

had my 800 clone for about 7 weeks
DM800HD-S BL76 Sim 2.01 Alps L3 Tuner
came with gemini 5.0 image but have now installed
DreamElite BH_DM800_133D_ssl76a.nfi.
i have tried 2 inline amps (separately of course)
and also using a usb netbook cooler
i have noticed that the glitching on the HD channels are
on the following transponders
12324 V 29500 3/4 sig strength on mine 80%
11797 H 29500 3/4 sig strength 69%
any solutions or ideas welcomeComment

Buy an inline amplifier off ebay for about ?3 It has helped a lot of people with the same problem
