Sly card in dreambox with cccam 2.1.4

I have the sly card working in my DM800 running CCcam 2.1.4 and all channels including premium are opening. The worrying thing that I have read is that some people are saying their card are not updating and have died - anyone hear about this ? Should I be ok with CCcam 2.1.4 and can someone tell me how to check my card entitlements to see if they are updating. Running Gemini 5 and thought it would be in CCcam info in the menu but was not.

Use CCcam_2.1.3 instead m8.

Don't worry about your card going off, mine went off at the end of last year and would not work in official digibox either even though all tiers were update. One call to sly and it was back on in 10 minutes. Just tell them you have been on holiday.

New cards should not get burnt if they are used in omikey,smargo or sci of a VU+duo or dm800.

Ok so using CCcam 2.1.3 will not stop this problem from occuring ?

With CCcam 2.1.3 do I also need to put the card back in the sly box to get updates every few weeks ?

I'm using 2.14 and mine seems to update how it should, not been a problem. I do notice that it only has entitlements for 2 months at a time though, or did have last time I looked.

For anyone that runs their sly card in the dreambox how frequently do you put it back in the sly receiver for an update ?

Is it just about a month before the entitlements expire or is it every night ?
