How to find out the Boot oader of Dreambox DM 800

My Dreambox DM 800 HD PVR and my laptop both connected to one network and the IP address 192.168.1.6 and the IP address for my dreambox is 192.168.1.2

How can I find out the Boot Loader of my dreambox such as

( 72, 73, 74, 75 or 76 ) i.e The Boot Loader # ?

What are the procedure to find out the boot loader number

Google the exact the thread title, just correct the spelling and one of the results will be a cardsharing site and theres a post there on How to find it, i would type it up But the thing is i dont know it off by heart nor can i copy paste of web pages on my phone.. I can remember it has something to do with telnet i think

just go to the boxes browser page by entering the IP of the box in the web browser. Its at the very bottom.

Telnet to the box and type in ipkg list and hit return

just go to the boxes browser page by entering the IP of the box in the web browser. Its at the very bottom.

Thats the bl on the current image on the box.
And Thats the one bd,
type in ipkg list then hit return then i think you will get a List , look from something like secondstage or dreambox secondstage..

think bl flashes up briefly on oled screen when booting the box , look closely tho , as its only there a short while , failing that use telnet method above


First open a telnet window
then type in ip of dm800 192.168.1.XXX
user is root
default password is dreambox
then type ipkg list and press return


this is dreambox second stage- BL
