    no signal out from dm 800 hd

    friends i have a normal tv set am using scart as output from dreambox my receiver is one month old and it was working perfectly but I wanted to change scart cable when i tried that no more signal came out i connected the old one but same any idea of what have happened? the fact is when i was changing the cable the receiver was on what to do is the question

    Check the cable connection mate it the scart has nothing to do with it.

      thx but i am not geting any video audio from dreambox nothing to do with cable i tried the same cable with another receiver is ok

        Check your box option... not possible cause no video, I guess.
        Have you tried DVI out?

        Maybe the only easy solution would be to flash your box. Before check the pin into your cable (never no...)

        too bad there is no way to access the parameter from an IP software / directly from your PC or MAC.

          Silly question, but if you're swapping cables, have you upgraded to a better quality?

          A lot of the better quality scarts are wired one way to reduce interference, so there may be arrows on the cable showing the direction to connect.

          The other thing that springs to mind might be that you now have a fully wired scart supporting rgb etc but have plugged into a scart on the tv that only supports composite.
