There will be very little differance between the New 500HD and the new 800HD-se when it come to the system board, so I think that it will be released on time, only differance being a screen on the front cover, USB as standard and a slightly bigger case for fitting a HDD inside.
Its not going to be hard to produce this model seeing as it will be a close relation to the New 500HD it will cut cost by producing the same motherboard for both models with slightly different configuration.
Interesting will be the Tuner card which looks likley to be fixed to the systemboard unlike the current model, leaving only the DB8000 model with interchangable Tuner cards.

if it's anything like the 500hd and its boot up problem, then i wouldn't bother.
The boot issue was a result of Images been released by Third party support teams, who based the Images for the 500HD on the 800HD architecture (Dream Elite BH for example), It did not work and broke many Recivers on people.
It was nearly 2 months later when Gemini released 5.0 other teams now base there images on this code which has fixed the boot problem.
Dont trust third party firmware on a new receiver ....
