Consider the current 800HD is coming to its end of life with a new model is coming out in September the 800HD-se boasting a 400Mzh processor & larger bank of Memory and Ram.

So you would only be kicking yourself later if you buy a original 800HD now.

Buying a clone 800HD would also be ill-advised as it will fall far behind the new original 800HD-se model as support start moving towards the newer models, especially with bootloaders etc where the older model might not be able to keep up.

A compromise would be buying the New 500HD a hundred quid more expencive than a Clone 800HD and over two hundred quid cheaper than the new 800HD-se, with the only difference being no screen on the front and a USB on the back.

(Note there is a small mod for a USB port on the 500HD) so thats not an issue.

My advice would be if you have 500 quid to spare buy the new 800HD-se in September it will last you many years.

If you have 300 quid to spare buy a Dreambox 500HD (not much difference between the new 800HD-se and this one to be honest)

And if all you can stretch is 200+ buy a clone ! but expect to be buying a new one again late next year @ the end of the day if you end up buying cheap receivers every few year you would be better buying one good one and living with it...
