hi if i buy a dreambox 800 hd and a motorised dish what else will i need to get all my channels ,,sports,, kids movies, i have broadband . im a bit confussed by it all .

i am using a dreambox 800hd on astra/eurobird and the way im doing it is with cccam it is a C:line of code used for cardsharing from what i understand is it is very hard to get a C:line unless its a subscription and there are loads of servers online you can sign up with roughly about €100 for the year but with that you get the whole package and all in HD aswell sports movies ect im sure there are other ways of doing it but thats how i do it and am very happy with service i getComment

I bought my boxes from Satronics and had no problems with them yet ive read loads of bad posts.
I spoke to Josh on their live chat and their logistics arent the best but they are in the Uk.
Ukdreamshop seem popular aand yaoxin from China.
As for a dish it depends if
you going with fixed or motorised.
I didnt buy off Ebay i used a local sat guy and got a better dish set up for my money on decent brackets.
Also will be needing a long ethernet cable or homeplugs which im using and are brill.
Max value 85mbps homeplug,double unit pack,bnib on eBay (end time 29-Jul-10 12:39:10 BST)
Forgot to mention you will need a null modem cable to flash your box but can use ethernet but best to have both.
Also lots of patience,its not plug and play!
Those homeplugs at 34 quid delivered are great,using them from router in lounge and have box in bedroom on another electric ring main.No need for miles of ethernet cable.

Looks like you are after valid subs then. If thats the case you should find your nearest Sly agent, or online, and get the Sly dish and HD box, free box and instalation (well, the guy at my nearest Morrisons says so). Why go for complex Dreambox if you are not going to CS???????
For non Sly footy (ie, 3pm's), but again with a bought sub, ie Tring, Nova etc, and you are a noobie, I would say go for a technomate (or somesuch).
I have a dreambox 800, fantastic box. But if CS is not for you I cant really think why you would want one.
Cams and keys are as near as dammit redundant.
Also, there is always a box like a Protek. I have the old Protek and it's great for backup.Comment
