    DM800 - DreamElite 1.3.3 - Just cant get the EPG working!

    Hi all, Ive Got Dream elite 1.3.3 original image running on my dm800 clone, and after transferring my channel list using DBE everything is fine, but I don't have an EPG.

    When I click 'ok' on the remote, I can see the program I'm watching and whats on next, but when I view my channel lists I cant see what is currently showing on those channels.

    Ive tried following other guide but got nowhere fast!

    Ive press
    Green button > yellow button > addons > d/l manager > enigma2 settings > and then selected:
    EPG Provider Config list UPDATE epg V3 (dream Elite E2).

    It installs and then reboots.

    Then blue button,red button,and I then download "Satmate UK sly epg"

    Ive tried settings it to auto update or tried also updating manually...

    it says found XXX programs and 120xxx comments but then the epg still doesnt work? i just get the channels that ive watched?

    I have also FTPed in and seen the the EPG.dat file is indeed getting updated!!!

    PLEASE HELP ITS DRIVING THE MRS MAD!

      ok, easy way.

      skip the green button stuff, uninstall EPG provider config then:

      blue button, red button, select rytec-skyuk, press ok, tick enable automatic epg refresh, choose time, press yellow, press red. wait til downloaded. Job done.

          Its because the memory is low on dm800 mount a usb stick and change path on epg to save on usb and satmate will run flawlessly

                  im having same prob on a dm500hd and im running dreamelite 1.3.3 how can i get better epg . is it the same way as with the 800 or not . thanks

                      ive done this on my 1.3.3 image,, but im still facing the EPG issue. I can see the epg.dat on usb stick getting bigger,, but nothing reflects on screen

                          this is how i managed it on the 500hd
                          Press the green button,
                          Press Yellow to open the "Dream Elite E2 Addons Manager"
                          Select 'Addons Download Manager'
                          Scroll down to and enter 'Enigma 2 Settings'
                          Then select 'EPG Provider Config List UPDATE v3 (Dream Elite E2)'
                          Press Green to download, Enigma 2 will restart when complete.

                          Press Blue then Red to enter 'Dream Elite E2 Epg Settings'
                          select 'Satmate_sly.UK' and press Green to open Provider Settings.
                          Press Yellow to Download Now.
                          Download takes approx 15secs, and Epg will be up to date when complete

                          Press info then press yellow "single epg"
                          hope this helps. this was running dream elite 1.3.3 so should work

                                  then blue > red > red
                                  change the "path to save epg file" to the mount point
                                  and save
