Freeze at bootscreen

Hey guys I got dm800hd with bootloader 76 and gemini 5.0 sim 2.01

When the box boots up it sometimes freezes on the GP boot screen where it has loading enigma 2 at the bottom left corner constantly, sometimes if I keep pressing menu i can get out of it but it takes a long time, anyway to fix this, the box right now is just froze on this screen, even unplugging doesn't help
Will a new image help? if so if you could tell me which 1 to use that would be great, thanks.

I can also ftp into the box when it has frozen just to let you know.

sounds like you need a reflash mate , why not upgrade to 5.1 gemini whilst your at it ,


head over to your sim 2.01 team website and all images within are suitable for your box mate ,

Do I put the 5.1 image on first and then the bootloader after?
And is it true I cannot restart the box without the image and bootloader on or else it will brick my box?
Any tuts for flashing the bootloader or is it exactly the same as flashing a image if it is then I can just follow the how to flasm a dm800 tutorial on this site?
Im a newbie for this so need abit of help, thanks.

Weird, i put gemini 5.1 on, then I flashed the bootloader 76 to 76a image, i clicked reboot box, now when the box boots I see the gemini screen, then it just says no signal on tv and the booting bar it stuck at about 40%

The red light is constantly flashing and the power button on the box wont turn it off, am I supposed to leave it or something :S

I put blackhole image on and it gets to the blackhole screen and then the setup menu to select your input, I press ok on dvi and nothing works and it just keeps going through, dvi, scart, and component connections every 10 seconds, this box doesnt respond much to the remote and its doing it again, what could be the problem?
I cant select the resolution now, dunno whats wrong

some strange symptons there mate , only thing i can suggest is contact your supplier , as it seems like faulty hardware


btw , the link to gemini (updated) file already has the patch within the image , so just flash the image in normal way , no need to patch it afterwards ,

also , just try box with only essentials connected , dvi , ethernet and power +sat feed , no usb devices

i contacted the supplier and he is going to fix it for me just sent it off to him, he said he has had a box which had a bit of plastic over the IR reciever causing the remote not to work he thinks thats the problem

My supplier that I sent the box back too said the remote was set to TV not DREAM.
