connect audio sp-dif to copper only amp

    Hi,

has anyone connected the dm800 wich has only an optical sp-dif connector for audio-out to an copper-only input
channel on his amp? I want do hear radio and play mp3's via
my dreambox and feed it in my cyrus/mission amp/speakers.

And no - i dont want to buy a new amp

I assume by 'copper-only input' you mean either digital coaxial input or stereo RCA inputs.

If you mean digital coaxial, then you just need an optical to coaxial converter like THIS for example.

Or if you mean Stereo RCA, then you'll need a DAC, a cheap DAC like THIS for example would do the job.
