What is the difference and which is best???

Hi Guys in the know, I have a couple of dreamboxes setup in the house and am since I have the general hang of things I am looking to go all HI DEF, I see there is a DM800 HD and a DM500 HD, in laymans terms can someone please tell me the difference and which is best, There is ?70 difference in the price so I assume there must be something quite significant between them.
