Streaming to sopcast or vlc?

Hey guys I wanna stream ufc 118 from espn hd to my friend tomorrow night, in either sopcast or vlc, what is the best way of doing this?

if its just for 1 friend i recommend you make a ustream channel lock it with a password and only give the password to your mate forget sopcast or vlc its a waste of time but make sure you lock the channel or you will have 1000s watching and the channel will get closed down

I made a ustream account now is there a tutorial or anything so I can stream from espn hd?
I can only seem to get my webcam to broadcast

well ull be needing an av cable coming out your box into a capture card in your pc which in turn then will stream to ustream

I thought theres a way of doing it with vlc without needing a capture card?
