    ?220 BL76A ?195 BL76

At uk dreamshop dm 800 have different prices.
am i wrong in thinking you could still flash original image with the ?195 one by flashing image then 76a bootloader straight after. If this is the case with the ?220 one could you just chose original image flash and that is the job done.

    Thanks for any advice.

there must be somethin else in the dearer model , as surely he isnt charging extra ?25 just for flashing a later image , if your set on buying from him , i would ask about the price differance , as the dearer one may be a later production run , with diferant hardware , switch on rear maybe , ?

i would avoid him myself just for this blatent bullshit , quote
"FERRARI SIM IS ONLY ANY USE TO OLD VERSIONS OF DM800 "

btw , if your after an dm800 with ferrari sim , then primusat.co.uk do them cheaper than ukdreamshop , and ferrari has much better support than sim 2.01

I showed ukdream your post above he replied that the info has been on site for a few months where he said sim 2.01 released the 76a first making sim 2.01 more upto date, but obviously Ferrari sim has now improved he said he would remove that message and look into stocking Ferrari sim also as a option if needed

I was also taken back with this post as ive a Dm 800hd with Ferrari sim and have no problems at all.
Big thing ive noticed is it doesnt get red hot like some Dreamboxes so know need for a fan.
Anyway that post made me feel i had bought something inadequate,

          Andy.

The newer ones ( higher price ) have a new L3 tuner and do not require the inline amp (:

It wasnt posted in a malicious way bubbles , just giving the poster my opinion , i apologise if the dealer believes i was out of order mate ,
btw , i too was under the impression sim2 team released there software before ferrari , however after doing some research , it seems ferrari made a beta 76f , and somehow sim2 team copied this . Its a good thing he is gonna look to stock ferrari , as expert opinion is its a much better card than the sim2.01 ,

                So do the cheaper ones

                DM800HD (S) SATELLITE RECEIVER - ukdreamshop

On the more expensive one it also states... "WE RECOMMEND YOU ALSO PURCHASE THE IN-LINE AMP WITH THIS ITEM"

                DM800HD (S) SATELLITE RECEIVER - ukdreamshop

So the difference in price does appear to be because the dearer ones have been flashed with the bl76a patch

yes , jackpot is correct , although they both have l3 , doesnt mean they are identical , think there several revisions of l3 tuner , each one better/glitch free`r than the previous ,

Noooo, not your post Southpaw the original by UK Dreamshop.
It was their post that made me feel uncomfortable.

I actually think ive a decent box.All these with built in fan tells me they get to hot.My box with Ferrari sim gets luke warm and has no fan so there must be something in the build quality.
                      No harm intended mate
