    dm800 tuner replacement

    hi all

i have just received a new tuner l4 version and a new sim 2,01 Just got a few problems Firstly a capicitor is missing (5s 330 35V) Can i remove one from the old tuner and solder it to the new one or can i buy an equivelent from say maplins ? Also how easy or hard is it to desolder from the old tuner. Also the new simcard 2.01 wont fit in the sim holder. It has like a bubble or raised bit near the cut edge of the simcard. On the other side of the bubble is like a tiny circuit of some sort. It is impossible to close the sim holder because the bubble wont allow the holder to close. as ever thanks for any replies

    cheers

There's a video online how to remove 1, watched it as
i need to do it to so i can fit a usb to my 500hd. They
used a solder remover kinda sucker type solder remover,
think you heat the solder slighltly then use the remover
to suck the solder up....the remover is 3 quid on fleabay.
