help with a dlink cable router

hi guys help needed trying to configure a d link router i always had a netgear router but now got 40 mg broadband and need help to get my d800 up and running again thanks guys

What's the problem/what do you need help with? and what model d-link router?

sorry was just in a hurry last night to try to get my server fixed the model was d link 615 and had problems with port fowarding and services its a lot different from a netgear

open your router in web browser 192.168.0.1

login and click advanced

in the 1st bit put the name of your box, ie dreambox and below it put the ip address of the box

then put public port as ie 12000 to 12000 and private as the same

click save at the top and all done, check if port is open via canuseemee
