Check your network and make sure your not downloading torrents. That will affect things greatly.
If it is glitching your ecms will be high. 0.200 to 0.400 is acceptable.

What about the fta channels like BBC1??
If they are ok its the server mate.We cant say to much about c/s on here.

If the fta channels are bad i would check the snr on these channels and see what they are.If they are good its a server or network problem.Would turn the modem and router off and on and taake it from there.

Have you tried the same dish with the other Dm500 and see if the channels are the same.

Is it a fixed or a motorised set up?? There can be lots of reasons like dodgy tuner, faulty wiring ,dodgy lnb just try and tick a few boxes first.

              Andy.

im using cccam 2.1.4 full on astra 28.2e
                im using image from ramiMAHER,
its a motorised dish. the same dish i had with dm500s
wen i reboot the modem/router then it stops freezing for 15mins then starts frezing again.

Sounds like a network problem but what about fta like BBC1??
They dont need a network to work.If there fine its an internet problem im guessing,
Off to footy so back later, hopefully you sort it mate.

                  Andy.

This also happened to me! My Heart was broke! I put an inline amplifier (about ?4) on the coax between the wall and the reciever. Worked a treat! Nearly no freezing or shuddering now, seems if your not in a great area it needs that little extra amps

Not necessary mate,i had high ecms one minute and ok the next, this went on for weeks and i blamed the server.

The problem was my son!! He was downloading torrents and affecting the bandwith on my internet causing high ecms.

When he stopped downloading it was perfect 0.200 average ecm time.

He needs to check first if the fta channels like BBC1 which dont need a server glitch or are ok and take it from there,

                            Andy,

i have new dm 800 which worked perfectly on my 1 mitre motorised dish for a round 2 weeks then all of a sudden it was freezing quite bad every 15 secs or so on hd channels no only on sky and some other hd channels on some sats but the rest worked perfect then it started on nearly every single channel and was doing my head in,i then put my dm 800 on the sky mini dish and everything was working perfect.
done some reading about an in-line amp which i bought but made no difference at all the only thing that it did was make the box overheat so i removed it.the next thing was the dish alignment although the snr was around 95% on my dm 500 and was around 65% and not stronge enough for my 800,so now i have realigned the dish an i get 100% on 28.2 sky bbc1 ans all other sats are in the 90's and problem is solved.
