    Buying Dreambox 8000HD Clone

Any recommendations of where to get a 8000HD clone from? Whats the tuner like and do they vary much from the original? Was thinking of the Vu+ till I found this forum and lots of talk about the clones.
    Thanks

Why do you say that bubbles? My worry with the vu+ is I know dreambox will always have the support whereas I know vu+ is getting good support and is growing, but will it last? My concern with the clone is is the tuner any good? An original is not an affordable option.

              hi

the clones are crap hd picture quality is shit, if i where you i would get a genuine or get a vu + as it is better then a clone and the picture quality on the hd is far better.

i was using a clone dm800hd and to honest it pissed me off so i sold it. not worthe money.

Went for the Vu+ duo in the end. Have to say its unbelieveable compared to my dreambox 7020 which was original. Great picture and the tuner, is pulling in even the crapest signal for great non interupted pictures. Only downside, instructions are crap had to spend a few hours trawling different websites for how to's, especially setting up my diseq motor but worth it in the end!
