    How do i use a picon file on dm800

    hi,
    I have a dm800 and have seen on this forum about picon files...is this sky bouquet?...

    How do i use and install on my dm800? please help

    You need to either Mount an HDD or USB stick via Mount Manager, Once that is done and they are showing up, You send the files using any FTP software to either off these 2 locations

    /media/hdd
    HDD will keep running indefinitely and may affect image performance


    /media/usb
    Recommended if USB available and successfully mounted (8000/800)

      Make sure you create a folder called picon.

        what exactly does this do? i have a external HDD ...so i put this into /media/hdd....and create a PICON folder (ftp across)...then what do i do...??

          I would recomend useing a usb pen drive, Then hdd wont keep kicking in.

            ok i have ftp'd it over to media/usb as i have an external usb hdd mounted ,do i have to be on a certain skin because it isnt working for me on ?

              I don't like the idea of the hdd spinning all the time due to heat issues, put your picon folder into media/cf/
              Works great for me and no issues.

                media folder dosnt have a cf folder for me, just hdd usb net and usbstick .
                i have tried the picon folder in all of them folders none work
                I even tried creating a cf folder and then moving picon folder in im on gemini project2 image anyone else problems using this image

                  Never used Gemini images, using Edg Nemesis v2.1 & Dream Elite v.133dv3 Phoenix Edition, picons working on both these images in media/cf/
